WARRIOR DOORS HAS BEEN APPOINTED TO LHC’s Communal Entrance Doorsets Framework (CED1)!
Warrior Doors has been appointed to local authority procurement specialist LHC’s Communal Entrance Doorsets Framework (CED1) for the supply of stainless steel doors as part of the LHC’s Workstream 3 for England and Wales.
The LHC is a leading provider of free-to-use framework agreements, used by local authorities, social landlords and other public-sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.
Bringing together buyers and suppliers using a “straightforward, shared language for procurement”, LHC addresses everything from technical specifications and regulatory requirements through to financial expectations to social and environmental commitments, with each framework researched extensively before publication.
To create the Communal Entrance Doorsets Framework (CED1), the LHC collaborated with Secured by Design (SBD), which provides specialist targeted guidance for all security related areas of design, including the building’s location, external environment, occupancy type, and undertakes risk analysis of likely vulnerability.
LHC sets very rigorous criteria to companies that apply for the framework because it needs to be assured that only those providing the best quality products, manufactured to the highest standards and offering best value, are appointed to frameworks.
Warrior Doors passed the criteria with flying colours and was the only company within this framework award to score 100% for value for money and quality.
Brett Barratt, managing director at Warrior Doors, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to the LHC Framework for communal entrance doorsets. We have many years’ experience working closely with the social housing sector and we understand that communal doors must be sufficiently robust to stand up to wilful vandalism, misuse, everyday use whilst having the ability to close and lock after repeated attack.
“We are looking forward to working within the framework to support the social housing sector in providing high security, robust and quality-engineered communal entrance doors that give peace of mind for both clients and residents, as well as offering best value for money.”
Every Warrior Door is manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management system, covering design, manufacture, and installation. All doors are DDA compliant where appropriate. It is committed to designing communal doors that require virtually no on-going maintenance other than yearly testing and servicing, providing longevity and a cost-effective solution.
