Warrior Doors already third party approved to latest Quality Management Standard
Warrior Doors is delighted to announce the successful transition and third-party approval by LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) to the new Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2015. This latest edition of ISO 9001 takes over from the 2008 version which becomes obsolete in September 2018.
The new edition is far less prescriptive than previous versions, which relied heavily on documentation and records. Featuring important changes, the 2015 edition requires risk based measurable processes, led by top management and focuses on performance evaluation, customer satisfaction and continual improvement.
The team at Warrior Doors welcomes this latest edition of ISO 9001 as it aligns well with its ethos of continuous improvement across all disciplines in the business. Brett Barratt, MD comments, “We are delighted that we are ahead of the game with our certification to the new ISO standard, having been recommended for transition by the BRE in February 2017.”
He continues, “We uphold the “plan-do-check-act” improvement methodology on which ISO 9001 is based as this aligns well with our own ethos of engineering and manufacturing high quality products to exacting standards for our customers every time.”
Quality standards are at the forefront of every Warrior door specification, as well as balancing aesthetics, security, safety and longevity. As well as being manufactured in accordance with the new ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, all Warrior doors fulfil DDA Compliance and Duty of Best Value.
The ISO has set a framework in the latest edition of ISO 9001 to allow organisations to adapt to a changing environment and enhance their ability to satisfy customers and provide a coherent foundation for growth and sustained success.
