Who are Faisal Jewellers
Ifty Faisal has been a jeweller in Alum Rock for 28 years, and moving his side street business to the more high profile site on the ‘High Street’ – Alum Rock Road, to be precise – was seen as a natural expansion of a successful and growing business.
Faisal Jewellers, specialist suppliers of traditional and modern Asian jewellery, opened its doors for business at its new premises on September 20, 2014 – with security doors front and rear already installed. It continues to prosper, attracting customers from all over Birmingham and beyond, and has been incident free since.
The installation of an interlocking door system in the front of the store, and a security door at the rear.
Said Mr Faisal: “I’ll be honest: it was a hard decision, because it doesn’t come cheap. BUT – ultimately I wanted peace of mind, so the decision to go ahead was a simple one in the end, and one I’ve never regretted.
“Robberies I read and heard about made me realise we’re all vulnerable, and one in particular at West Bromwich, convinced me that I needed to be one step ahead, and have my premises secured before we opened for business there.
“I came across Warrior Doors via YouTube would you believe – I watched some of the videos about the difference their doors were making to other jewellers, and the levels of testing they do to make sure their products are secure to the very highest level. So I got in touch.
“Brett Barratt (Warrior Doors’ MD) was very helpful, he gave me lots of honest advice and a quote that was very fair, and I had no doubt at all that we had to go for it.”
Ifty, his family, staff, and customers, all feel safe when they are at Faisal Jewellers. “Everything is safe and secure, and we all feel safe, and having the doors installed has been worth every penny,” he says.
Security doors they may be, but Warrior Doors’ interlocking system looks in no way intimidating in the slightest. They blend in easily with the store’s smart, shiny, fresh ambiance, but most importantly, Ifty and staff are able to make sure no one trying to enter they regard as being suspicious is allowed in.
Entry is simple: you simply press a buzzer, and the first door opens. There is then a 2 seconds delay before the second one opens, and one can only be opened when the other is closed. So even if someone gained entry and then carried out a robbery, they would be trapped on leaving in the small corridor between both doors.
“I’m extremely happy with everything,” says Ifty. “It looks good, it’s strong, and we all feel safe. Warrior Doors delivered everything I asked for.”
Ifty now has no hesitation in recommending Warrior Doors. He says: “I have given them three or four customers already.
“Warrior Doors is a fantastic company to deal with, their product is first class, and the after-sales service is excellent; they don’t just to the job then disappear, they are always on hand if you need them, and quick to respond to any problems or questions.
“I am very happy I went ahead with Warrior Doors, and – as I say – feel so much more safe and secure because of it.”
All Warrior Doors, by the way, are DDA compliant, and come with a 10 year guarantee as standard on the door and frame.
