East Midlands Housing Association

Warrior Doors are commissioned by East Midlands Housing Association to install front and rear doors in sheltered housing properties around Derbyshire.

Who are East Midlands Housing Association

East Midlands Housing Association manage homes in 37 local authority areas from North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire down to South Northamptonshire and across Leicestershire.

Having researched the market East Midlands Housing Association approached Warrior Doors to upgrade a combination of front and rear doors in warden controlled sheltered housing properties in Northampton.

Warrior Doors were commissioned to design, manufacture and install DDA Compliant security doors to integrate automatic operation through a door entry system operated by the tenants and concierge for convenient entry and exit.

They also need to accommodate access for some of the resident’s mobility vehicles.

Warrior installed white powder coated Aluminium security doors and screens with 6.8mm laminated safety glass, maintaining high levels of natural light and visibility at the front, and wide doors at the rear to enable tenants to easily move their mobility vehicles to the garage to charge the batteries.

The housing association and their tenants are delighted that the new doors have not only brightened up the entrances, but that they have increased security and substantially improved accessibility.
